To link your Amazon account to your TV and start streaming Prime Video, use the amazon.com/mytv activation page or the QR code shown on your TV screen to register your device quickly.
Step 1 — Prepare Your Devices
- Turn on your Smart TV or streaming device and make sure it’s connected to the internet.
- Have a computer, smartphone, or tablet nearby to visit the activation website.
- Ensure you have your Amazon account login credentials ready. If you don’t have an account, create one at amazon.com
Step 2 — Open Prime Video on Your TV
- Download and open the Prime Video app from your TV’s app store if it’s not pre-installed.
- The app will display a 6-digit code for activation, or sometimes a QR code.
Step 3 — Register Your Device
You have two ways to link your TV to your Amazon account:
Method 1: Using the amazon.com/mytv URL:
- On your phone or computer, open a browser and go to amazon.com/mytv
- Sign in to your Amazon account.
- Enter the 6-digit code displayed on your TV screen. Double-check the code as it expires quickly.
- Click Submit or Register. Your TV should automatically update and sign in.
Method 2:Using QR Code (if available):
- Open the camera app or QR code scanner on your mobile device.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the TV.
- Tap the notification that appears to go to the Amazon sign-in page.
- Sign in to your Amazon account if prompted, and the TV will link automatically.
Step 4 — Start Watching
- After registration, your TV app updates and shows your Prime Video library.
- You can browse and stream movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals directly on your TV.
